MICRO 2 ULTRA

Introducing the MICRO 2 ULTRA: The First 1280-Resolution 4-in-1 Thermal Optic

Industry-first 1280 helmet-mounted thermal monocular pairs a high resolution sensor with an

ultra-wide field of view, delivering uncompromised performance in the smallest 1280 thermal

platform on the market.

Lewisville, Texas: Nocpix is proud to introduce the MICRO 2 ULTRA, a next-generation

thermal platform built for hunters and outdoorsmen who refuse to compromise on capability. The

ULTRA is a true four-in-one system, functioning as a helmet-mounted thermal monocular,

clip-on, handheld scanner, and dedicated weapon sight, all from a single unit.

A New Standard for Helmet-Mounted Thermal

The ULTRA is the first 1280 x 960 resolution helmet-mounted thermal monocular on the market.

Its 34.2° × 25.9° field of view is roughly double the width and height of typical monoculars,

closing the gap with the ~40° FOV of a standard PVS-14 and eliminating the tunnel-vision effect

common to other optics. With 1× base magnification and up to 8× digital zoom, users get a wide

picture for search and detection, then can push in the moment it matters.

Dual-Link and Dual-Band Fusion

Dual-Link technology pairs two ULTRAs into a single controllable binocular system, with one unit

acting as master controller for menus, palettes, and settings across both eyes. The wide FOV

also makes the ULTRA purpose-built for dual-band setups, pairing thermal with night vision.

Dedicated NV Highlight and Outline modes isolate heat signatures so the brain can fuse thermal

and NV imagery more naturally than with conventional full-frame thermal.

Built for Speed and Precision

FastEngine architecture delivers more than double the latency performance of conventional

1280 thermal systems, paired with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 0.1-second shutter to minimize lag

and motion artifacts. As a clip-on, the ULTRA supports day optics up to 10× magnification (up

from 6× on the RH25 V2), backed by three independent zeroing profiles and a redesigned, less

obstructive UI. A dedicated wireless remote puts recording, menu navigation, and scroll-wheel

zoom control at the user's fingertips. As a handheld scanner or dedicated weapon sight, the

ULTRA's 1280 × 960 sensor pairs with a new 2560 × 2560 circular AMOLED display to put that

extra resolution to use.

Additional Upgrades

The MICRO 2 ULTRA also delivers 1080p video recording, 64GB of onboard storage, a

simplified UI, smoother digital zoom, IP67 water and dust resistance, and cold-weather batteries

rated to -40°F, with Power-Saving Mode extending runtime to six hours per 18650 battery.
