Introducing the MICRO 2 Series: The Next Generation of 4-in-1 Thermal Optics

Built on the proven RICO MICRO platform, the MICRO 2 H25 and MICRO 2 ULTRA bring

advanced helmet-mounted capabilities, 10× clip-on support, and upgraded image quality to a

compact, versatile thermal system.

Lewisville, Texas: Nocpix USA is proud to introduce the MICRO 2 series, a next-generation

thermal platform built for hunters and outdoorsmen who demand more from a single optic.

Available in the 640-resolution MICRO 2 H25 and 1280-resolution MICRO 2 ULTRA, both

models function as a helmet-mounted thermal monocular, clip-on, handheld scanner, and

dedicated weapon sight. Building on the pedigree of the original RH25 and RH25 V2, the

MICRO 2 series delivers substantial upgrades in display resolution, helmet-mounted operation,

clip-on performance, and power management.

Two Models. A New Level of Image Quality.

The MICRO 2 ULTRA introduces the first 1280-resolution 4-in-1 thermal optic and

helmet-mounted thermal monocular. Its 1280 × 960, 12-micron sensor pairs with a 34.2° × 25.9°

field of view—roughly double the width and height of the H25 and RH25 V2—to capture more of

the surrounding environment with less scanning. With up to 8× digital zoom, the ULTRA

combines wide-area observation with the resolution needed to retain detail under magnification.

The MICRO 2 H25 pairs a new 640 × 512, 12-micron thermal sensor with NETD ≤15 mK

sensitivity and 20% higher detector responsivity than the previous generation. Its 17.5° × 13.1°

field of view provides a familiar viewing perspective, while the upgraded sensor reveals more

detail and improves target separation in difficult conditions. FastEngine architecture cuts latency

by 21%, helping the image follow head movement and moving targets more naturally.

Purpose-Built for Helmet-Mounted Use

Both models introduce Dual-Link technology, allowing two units to operate as a coordinated

binocular system. One unit acts as the master controller for menus, palettes, and settings

across both eyes, simplifying adjustments during use.

Dedicated NV Highlight and Outline modes support bridged thermal and night-vision setups by

emphasizing heat signatures while preserving the environmental information visible through the

night-vision device. A new flip-to-standby function automatically places the optic into standby

when raised, conserving battery power between observations.

Expanded Clip-On Capability

Both MICRO 2 models support day optics up to 10× magnification, expanding on the RH25 V2’s

6× capability. A new 1.03-inch, 2560 × 2560 circular AMOLED display provides a larger, more

detailed viewing experience across all four operating modes.

Three independent clip-on zeroing profiles allow users to save settings for different rifle setups,

while a redesigned interface simplifies operation and reduces visual obstruction. An includedOCTOBER 26, 2026 RELEASE

Bluetooth remote provides convenient access to controls during helmet-mounted and

rifle-mounted use.

Built for Speed and Extended Use

A 60 Hz refresh rate and FastEngine processing help both models deliver responsive imagery

during scanning and target tracking. The ULTRA adds a 0.1-second shutter interruption,

minimizing the pause during image calibration.

Power-Saving Mode extends runtime to up to nine hours on the H25 and six hours on the

ULTRA per 18650 battery, without reducing image quality, frame rate, or latency. True Sleep

provides a dedicated low-power standby state, while replaceable batteries and USB-C external

power support extends time in the field.

Additional Upgrades

The MICRO 2 series also delivers 1080p video recording with audio, 64GB of onboard storage,

smoother digital zoom, and upgraded 5 GHz Wi-Fi with transfer speeds up to 20 MB/s. Both

models feature magnesium housings with a Cerakote finish, IP67 water and dust resistance,

and upgraded cold-weather batteries. The H25 packages these capabilities in a body

approximately 12% shorter than the RH25 V2, while the ULTRA brings 1280-resolution

performance to a compact platform measuring just 4.45 × 2.52 × 2.05 inches.
